The Filipino-Chinese community in Iloilo City prepared several activities in line with the Chinese New Year Celebration.
The yearly highlight is a Food festival situated in the heart of Iloilo City. This year is more special because the Filipino-Chinese friendship arch has finally been completed. This arch is a centennial project of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Iloilo (FCCCI).
It was a challenge to take these photos because I was not able to bring my tripod. Low light photography requires a slow shutter speed and the camera becomes very sensitive even to the lightest movement. I had several blurry pictures before I was able to capture an acceptable photos.
What I did was I tried to put the camera on top of the barricade. Turned on the timer mode and hoped for a good shot.
