December is my favorite month because for me people become extra nice and jolly during this month. Christmas season is probably one of the awaited events here in the Philippines. People receive their bonuses, students get break from school stuff and we receive gifts from our ninongs and ninangs.
Most of us Filipinos associate Christmas or December with snow. It is probably because of the strong influence of media. Many of us want to have a close encounter with it.
When I was in Korea as an exchange student, it was actually one of the things that I look forward to. However, Busan the second largest city in Korea where I stayed is located on the Southern Part. Hence, there is not much there. But I was still fortunate to experience it.
